Dr. Jörg Ströbel will lead Extera Partners' European medical product commercialization services.
Dr. Jörg Ströbel has joined Extera Partners to lead a new commercialization service for medical products targeting European markets. He is an experienced senior executive, who until recently served as the CEO of Ziehm Imaging GmbH. During his tenure with Ziehm, Jörg positioned Ziehm as a dominant market leader in Europe and increased company revenues to over $100M. Previously, Jörg lead the multimillion dollar implantable cardiac pacemakers business of Biotronik GmbH & Co. KG, introducing innovative pacemakers into markets throughout Europe.
Leveraging Extera's extensive network of business leaders, reimbursement, and regulatory experts, Dr. Ströbel will focus his activities on pre-launch planning, launch execution, and on-the-ground post launch management for new products that are targeting entry into European markets.
